I really liked this insert. So far it has been working great and is making the set up and storing of the game really easy. There are a couple details that could be improved though. First the instructions for building it. They were not great, luckily the design is pretty good and it is really hard to get the pieces wrong. The whole felt thing to protect the minis are a great addition but a bit difficult to install as some of them are duplicated and it took me too many steps to realize it as it is not in the instructions and the drawing in the cardboard is only in one side (I think limited by the printer). Once built it was looking great and I had printed some labels previously for the original insert to help separate the cards that are still useful, specially to divide the cards in some extra categories. The dividers included with the insert are enough for basic separation but having extra labels helps to do the set up. Adding more dividers in cardboard wouldn't be too realistic, as they take more space. The minis have too much space to move in the insert for my taste, but it is better that way than too tight. And the felt helps protect them. The extra space I actually use it to store some extra things (e.g. I keep a pencil and a rubber in the box). The cards fit sleeved (offical sleeves from Awaken Realms), a bit tight in some cases but comfortably. The only thing I couldn't fit were the help cards that are the same size of the map cards. There is only one place for the map cards and those fit, but the help cards have to be outside. I have been putting them flat on top of the minis spaces. That has worked fine and although disappointing at first it actually works well now for me (if you wouldn't sleeve them they would fit with no issues). Last comment, the box might remain a few millimetres opened even using this insert, but to be fair I have also my own notebook (it is small though) inside. The biggest issue is the adventure book from the game, but that one is easy to keep outside if the box is needed completely closed. Otherwise the difference is really small. In summary, great insert, very good design, and useful for the game.

The insert for Tainted Grail is exactly what I hoped for. It will hold everything sleeved of the base game + the kickstarter exclusive character. It is advertised as "no need for glue" and this may be certainly true but I glued most of the parts nevertheless for the extra stability. Before using glue make sure you are using the correct part and the correct place. One word of caution: It is up to date the most fiddly insert I build, including big storage boxes from other companies. Not so much a critic but general information. It is the best insert for Tainted Grail and I would recommend it to everyone wanting to reduce setup time. It is definitely worth the extra investment.
