The insert is overall fine. Keeping carts and items sorted is fantastic, while being able to place the items tray separately on the table gives it a nice touch. However, I think the insert does not perfectly fit the original Arkham Horror box. First, the box is squared, while the insert's width matches the width too tightly (it was difficult to get in in the box) but the depth leaves 3mm unused. Second, the insert is too heigh, thus when adding the instruction manual, the character sheets, and the board, all content stacks higher than the box itself, thus it cannot get closed perfectly as without using the insert. I think, keeping the main part of the insert that contains the compartments for the cards 3mm lower would have helped and sufficed for all cards. Perhaps I will shorten my insert to make it fit ideally.
